Breakfast for <$10 !!!
Finally! I found a diner and had breakfast for under $10!! The only problem is it’s on the other side of town. The Sunflower Diner - 359 3rd Ave. @ 26th. I ordered 3 scrambled eggs with bacon. Naturally, it came with toast and home fries, but I specified that I didn’t want them. The waiter offered a veggie instead! I expected a few pieces of broccoli, but got 3 huge stalks of it! The bacon was crispy! The eggs were fine. The decaf was decaf. But the total came to $8.40!!!! I was shocked!! Since I had to be over there anyway, I don’t factor in the subway fare. In the future, if I wanted to go there, I could walk and save the $2.25. But c’mon, $8.40. It’s the little things in life here, people.
